The Krios Squadron box includes six highly mobile battle tanks, each armed with the trusty lightning cannon—a rapid-firing energy weapon designed to cut through enemy armor. Four of these tanks can also be built as Krios Venators, replacing their main gun with pulsar-fusils and shielding, transforming them into high-speed tank hunters.
No matter the variant, every Krios comes with volkite caliver sponsons, adding even more firepower to their already formidable arsenal.
Karacnos Assault Tank Squadron: Devastation from Afar
Designed for indirect fire support, the Karacnos Assault Tank unleashes radiological mortar barrages, softening up biological targets before the main assault begins. This long-range suppressive fire is backed up by lightning locks, giving the Karacnos some teeth against lightly armored targets that get too close.
Loyalist or Traitor? The Choice is Yours
Both tank squadrons can be fielded by either the loyalist Mechanicum Taghmata or the heretical Dark Mechanicum, with full rules available in The Rise of the Dark Mechanicum expansion for Legions Imperialis.
