Looks like a big set of Kill Team releases are on the way!
Kill Team: Blood and Zeal – Faith vs. Fury
The Massif Ballistus is set to fire, but the foundries of Cascabael are anything but secure. As the Imperium’s faithful prepare the final rituals, the Goremongers of Khorne rampage through the crowds, seeking to sabotage the shot. Standing in their way are the Sanctifiers, a fervent band of Imperial zealots armed with chainsaws, fire, and unshakable faith.
This expansion introduces two completely new Kill Teams, each offering a distinct playstyle. The Sanctifiers consist of nine battle-ready fanatics, including a Confessor leading the charge, supported by specialists like the Conflagrator, Death Cult Assassin, and Drill Abbot. Their prayers are answered with fire and steel, making them a dangerous force in close combat. Opposing them, the Goremongers bring a brutal mix of cybernetic enhancement and sheer savagery. This seven-warrior warband, led by a towering Blood Herald, consists of warriors who have survived combat with Bloodletters and now seek to emulate their daemonic idols.
The set includes a massive Shrine Statue, a 56-page Blood and Zeal Dossier filled with background lore and new missions, and essential tokens and datacards for both teams. A new mission deck also adds further variety to the battlefield, offering thematic objectives for each faction.
New Kill Teams Arrive
Alongside Blood and Zeal, additional expansions bring fresh options for players.
Kill Team: Ratlings
These sharp-shooting abhumans are more than just notorious snack hoarders—they’re expert marksmen and cunning scouts. The set includes 10 Ratlings, with options to build specialists like the Big Shot, Raider, and Slashmaster, as well as a loyal Battlemutt. With unique battlefield tricks, such as tripwire traps and ammo caches, this unit adds mobility and trickery to any Astra Militarum force.

A separate deck of 38 Datacards provides faction rules and tactical options for gameplay.
Kill Team: Wrecka Krew
Ork Tankbustas and Breaka Boyz have finally joined forces, forming a crew dedicated to smashing, breaking, and blowing up anything in their way. This expansion brings six unique Ork operatives, including the Boss Nob, Demolisha, and Rokkiteer, alongside two reckless Bomb Squigs eager to cause mayhem.
The set includes a detailed transfer sheet and an optional Datacard deck with rules, ploys, and abilities tailored for maximum destruction.
New Terrain: Compound Siege
With the battle raging in Hive Fissilicus, the Compound Siege upgrade set introduces bunkers, fire steps, and stockades, creating an ideal battleground for ambushes and skirmishes. This set integrates with Killzone Volkus, enhancing the environment with fortifications and defensive emplacements. Rules for using this terrain will be available as a free download from Warhammer Community.
Final Thoughts
With Blood and Zeal, Warhammer’s skirmish battles take on a brutal new chapter, pitting religious zealots against Khorne’s most devoted butchers. The return of Ratlings, the chaos of the Wrecka Krew, and the Compound Siege terrain make this an essential expansion for Kill Team players. Whether you’re looking to burn heretics, spill blood, or wreck everything in sight, this release delivers a dynamic and thematic addition to the game.
