Hagthor Jarlun is one of the few Ironhead Squats to make it out of Jardlan alive, a veteran prospector turned Ferryman who has learned the value of caution in a place where reckless decisions mean certain death. His pragmatic nature led him to Aster Felsturn, a fearless brawler he found fighting off a dozen Brood Scum armed with nothing but a jack wrench and pure grit.
Rather than intervene, Hagthor observed from a distance, impressed by her sheer tenacity. When Aster finally limped her way back to Port Styx, he followed, discovering a thriving underground economy where guides, scavengers, and desperate souls traded in knowledge, transport, and survival skills. Recognizing an opportunity, Hagthor made Aster an offer—his expertise and resources for her raw courage and instinct. The duo has been inseparable ever since.
Aster Felsturn & the Harpy Rig
Aster isn’t just a fighter—she’s a natural engineer, constantly modifying and tinkering with an armour rig she calls the Harpy. This heavily customized suit enhances her already formidable combat prowess, and thanks to Hagthor’s expertise, she can push its limits without it falling apart mid-fight.
Her Endless Innovation makes her a valuable asset in the field, especially when working with Ferryman teams that rely on vehicles to navigate the hazardous ruins of Secundus. She’s willing to take dangerous jobs, but Hagthor keeps her in check, ensuring they don’t get too reckless—or at least, not reckless enough to get themselves killed.
