Commander Farsight, one of the most famous and controversial figures in the T’au Empire, is back in Farsight: Blade of Truth, a new novel by Phil Kelly.
This book sheds light on the period between his self-imposed exile and his dramatic return during the Second Agrellan Campaign, expanding his already murky legend.
Farsight’s voluntary banishment followed the events of Farsight: Empire of Lies, where he gave up his battlesuit and the enigmatic Dawn Blade. Disillusioned after uncovering the true extent of the T’au Ethereal Caste’s control over the Empire, particularly after his battle against Chaos Daemons on Arthas Moloch, Farsight chose to retreat to the world of Vior’los. But, as often happens in the Warhammer universe, Farsight’s peace is shattered. The Tyranids, ever-hungry for destruction, are poised to consume Vior’los. Farsight, though alone, stands against their endless hordes. With the added complication of Aun’va, the Ethereal Supreme’s influence, things get even more complicated. However, hope appears in the form of a young rebel named Torchstar, who arrives with advanced battlesuits that could turn the tide of the battle.
