Though initially unaware of her manipulative nature, Cado’s journey has led him to a path of exile as he is constantly bound to his mission of vengeance.
Accompanying Cado are the souls of his former mentors, mentors bound to his rings. One of the most important of these is Solia, the scholar-mage who still maintains her free will and acts as his confidant. This bond makes her a unique character in the lore, as she literally has Cado’s back in both a figurative and literal sense.
Sissendra – A Merciless Duellist
Sissendra is a merciless duellist, wholly consumed by the Soulblight curse. Turned by the Hollow King years ago, she serves as a strange and violent companion to Cado. Her violent indulgence in the curse is a sharp contrast to Cado’s more reserved and honour-bound nature. However, Cado feels a deep sense of obligation to her, and together they form a deadly duo.
Aurelias – The Loyal Mortal Agent
Unlike the others, Aurelias is not a vampire, but rather a loyal mortal agent of Neferata. Aurelias is a powerful death mage, skilled in the arcane arts of the dead, and is always accompanied by his twin-headed serpent, Kennistrix. With six eyes on the Hollow King at all times, Neferata’s mortal agent remains a critical part of the team, ensuring that Cado remains under Neferata’s watchful eye.

The Blades of the Hollow King bring a lot of power to the battlefield in the Battletome: Soulblight Gravelords.
