The Datavault Update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II is here, bringing exciting new content for both PvE and PvP players!
The headline of this third major update is the Datavault, a new information archive on your Battle Barge. As you battle Tyranids and complete special challenges called Ordeals, you’ll collect research data. This data can be traded for Requisition Points and new cosmetic unlocks like pauldron sigils, weapon skins, and armor pieces, giving players new ways to customize their characters.
Season Pass players get an extra treat with the Champion Pack, which includes a stunning new Salamanders armor set, complete with a unique Salamanders skin for the Sniper class and bolt sniper rifle.
The armor boasts drake-hide details, echoing the iconic elements of Vulkan’s legendary forgework.
There’s also a Raven Guard Cosmetic Pack, offering over 40 enhancements, including armor pieces, badges, and the classic ‘beakie’ MkVI Corvus-pattern helmet.
On the gameplay front, Biovores join the Operations mode missions against Tyranids, adding a new level of challenge with their devastating artillery. For players looking for a truly hardcore challenge, a new Absolute Difficulty setting has been introduced for seasoned veterans to test their skills.
Lastly, the new Tomb PvP map takes players deep into a Necron temple, blending Imperial and Necron architecture for a unique battlefield. This eerie setting offers a fresh challenge in the ongoing war between Imperial and Chaos Space Marines.
The Datavault Update is available now, with free additions like the Datavault, Tomb Arena, Biovore, and Absolute Difficulty for all players. However, the Salamanders and Raven Guard cosmetics are available through the Season Pass or as separate purchases. Make sure to download the latest version and jump into the action!
