The year 2025 is bringing us two exceptional new Commemorative Series miniatures, available exclusively at Warhammer events across the globe.
This year, the focus is on the dangerous and devious creatures that haunt the dark, twisting tunnels of both Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000.
Skaven Clawlord Kettek Throatbite: Master of the Shadows
First up is the Skaven Clawlord Kettek Throatbite from Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Kettek is a true Skaven commander – one who stands at the very back of the battleline, where Skaven commanders are usually found. From this prime position, he can safely command his endless tides of Clanrats into battle, sending them on suicidal charges to overwhelm the enemy. But don’t let his position fool you; Kettek isn’t just a cowardly overseer from the rear – he’s also a deadly combatant, armed with two vicious blades.
These sharp weapons make him more than capable of cutting down any overconfident heroes who venture too close, and he will happily plunge his blades into enemy ranks when the time comes. Despite being a part of the Skaven horde, Kettek carries the banner of Blight City with pride, marking his role as a cunning leader among the ratmen.
Genestealer Cults Primus: The First of the Faithful
On the Warhammer 40,000 side, we’ve got the Genestealer Cults Primus, known ominously as The First of the Faithful. This sinister xenos hybrid leader is a multi-armed menace whose only aim is the destruction of humanity. As the Primus, he is the military commander of the cult and stands at the head of its insidious plans to tear down civilization from within. This miniature captures the essence of the Genestealer Cults, acting as both a symbol of resistance and a master of guerrilla warfare.
Primuses are not just masterminds; they’re capable duelists who can stand toe-to-toe with even the greatest of Imperial champions. Whether the Primus uses his wits or his blades, he’s a force to be reckoned with in the darkness of the underworld. For extra customization, this model includes two head options: one featuring the sinister mask that the Primus wears and the other revealing his twisted, hybrid mutations, making him a truly terrifying character in your army.
Where to Get Them
Both of these miniatures will be available for the first time at AdeptiCon 2025, starting on March 26th, and will also be sold at other Warhammer events throughout the year. Whether you’re heading to AdeptiCon or attending other exciting Warhammer events, these commemorative miniatures are a must-have for any collector.
