Have you ever wondered what might happen if two legendary characters from the Warhammer 40,000 or Age of Sigmar universes collided?
Maybe Archaon and Kragnos would meet on the battlefield, or perhaps a conversation between Trazyn and Orikan would reveal unexpected alliances. Black Library is giving you the opportunity to imagine these matchups and bring them to life in a short scene for a chance to be part of their official canon!
Submission Details:
- Timeframe: Submissions are open between February 22nd and March 9th.

Gotrek slammed his tankard back on the table with an audible thump. It drew some attention from the other patrons but they resumed their banter.
“Those Grobi wouldn’t know how to fight even if they were 10 times the size. Mewling little cowards” ; he grunted, as he reached for the next ale his companion got for him.
“Ah, this manling ale does the job, but give me some bugmans, or some kislevite vodka anyday”; he lamented
His companion took a mouthful and seemed satisfied with it.
“Not the worst we’ve had”; Felix remarked, smiling at one of the tavern maids
“You keep your hands to yourself manling, tomorrow we continue searching for my doom. The time approaches. By Grungni i can feel it” ; Gotrek said
Felix smiled wryly and glanced around the tavern, before meeting Gotreks gaze. “No…… No we dont”; he said quietly
Gotrek put his drink down and stared at the vessel. “No… no we dont”; sighed Gotrek
Gotrek stood, addressing the other patrons.
“You lot can bugger off”; he shouted, and on command they disappeared. So did the tavern. In its place; a void, stretching to infinity. Gotrek sighed.
“Why are you here manling? Shouldnt you be off in some afterlife with a Harem of wenches, or with the wife and daughter? Surely you have better things to do than bother my memories” he taunted
This was not the first time he dreamed of Felix. A dwarf friend and rememberer. But long gone. Along with his world, his friends, and those dearest to his heart.
Felix rose to his feet.
“I would my friend, were this a memory”; he replied “and besides, death was not my end”.
Gotrek heard a noise, like thunder. He gripped his axe, ready for anything, but Felix made no move. His red cloak barely even billowing, but above them Gotrek saw a comet racing towards them. As it struck the ground between them, Gotrek rolled to the side and was on his feet in moments, weapon raised, ready to strike, but he saw something he was not prepared for.
Between them was his axe. Its starmetal blazing red with heat, but he did not fear it. He reached out to touch it and his hand passed through it, as it vanished. He closed his eyes and cursed.
He opened them ready to howl but saw Felix before him. Changed.
Gone was the duellist. Before him stood a knight. Broad, powerful. A dragon hilted greatsword by his side. Gotrek recognised his armour. A Stormcast Eternal.
“Do the gods still mock me so?” Gotrek spat, his fury rising
“No my friend! The time is upon us. You were meant for more than your doom. The realms need you. I will aid you, and help restore that which has been lost to you. Until the day we meet again my friend, awake”
Gotrek jolted awake and looked at the jug in his hand, scrawled with X’s
“Hmph…. Not bad” he thought, inspecting the jug
