First Leg at AdeptiCon – New Venue, Same Intensity
The first leg of the competition will be held at AdeptiCon, starting on March 26th, 2025, at its new home in the Baird Centre in Milwaukee. As usual, the event will feature some of the best miniature artists from around the world competing for the glory of Golden Demon titles.
New Categories and Changes
The Duel category is making a grand return! This category lets contestants create vignettes depicting intense combat between two opponents—perfect for those looking to showcase some truly dynamic and narrative-driven scenes.
Additionally, Warhammer Underworlds warbands are now part of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Unit category, alongside Warcry warbands. So if you’re a fan of skirmish-level games and want to show off your painted warbands, now’s your chance to get them into the competition spotlight.
Awards System Tweaks: New Titles Below the Podium
While the Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes for the top three entries remain the same, the awards structure has been updated for those just below the podium. Entries that impress the judges but don’t make the top three will now receive the titles of Finalist, Commended, or Notable. This ensures that even if you don’t land on the podium, your hard work and creativity still get the recognition they deserve!
