Victrix Islamic Infantry Released!

Victrix Limited continues to flesh out their crusades range. Let’s take a look at the new minis!

So you have rewatched the Director’s Cut of Kingdom of Heaven enough to think that it’s a masterpiece, and in between uncontrollable outbursts about the folly of film studio interventions, prompted by people at the local coffee shop asking you to sit down and put your shirt back on, you decide you need a horde of Islamic Infantry for Legolas to fight single handedly for the fate of Jerusalem. Sure, this sounds like a fever dream (“the doctor from DS9 was there, and Lucius Vorenus, and William Wallace’s cuddly teddy bear of a best friend was a bad guy”) but Victrix Limited has you covered, nonetheless!

This set will allow you to build 48 figures, and just take a look at all the options above. There are archers, spears and swords, as well as full command options. Furthermore, there are 22 different heads on each frame, making for 132 total, thanks to the 6 frames of minis. Also, with just a little clever modification that archers could easily made into spearmen, and vice versa, depending on your needs. There are a variety of shields on the sprue, and though they do not come with transfers, Little Big Men Studios have stepped in the fill the gap!

This set is available now, so don’t wait! And in case you are worried that you won’t have any support for your horde of infantry, don’t worry, Victrix will be keeping the releases coming. Up next is Medieval Islamic Cavalry!

Gray was lucky (and old) enough to buy a box of RTB01 space marines new off the shelf and the rest is history. His passion for miniatures and game development has lead him into sales and production roles for tabletop companies, and on Quixotic personal ventures as well. He loves retro, historical and indie gaming, has a keenly honed sense of nostalgia for 40K and WFB, and loves to paint. Most of his gaming is done with his two sons who are just discovering the joys of the hobby, and the rest of his time is spent reading History, Fantasy and Sci-Fi, or painting minis and writing games for fun.
