Listen up, Middle-earth fans! Do you hear the echo of the Horn of Helm Hammerhand in the distance? That’s right, something epic is coming, and it’s bound to shake the very foundations of the Hornburg!
On Hobbit Day, we got a sneak peek of The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim™ – Battle of Edoras starter set. But hold on to your helmets, because it’s not just the princes, Haleth and Háma, making their way from the silver screen to the tabletop. The king himself, Helm Hammerhand, is here, and he’s not just any king – this is Wraith of the Hornburg Helm!
For those who know Helm’s tale, you’ll recall the tragedy that befalls him. Without diving into spoilers for the upcoming War of the Rohirrim™ movie, Helm’s story is one of loss and vengeance. As grief consumes him, Helm transforms into a fearsome, vengeful spirit, stalking the icy wilderness near the Hornburg and exacting brutal justice on the followers of Wulf – often with his bare hands!
Now, you might be wondering, “Is Helm underpowered without a weapon?” Absolutely not! Helm didn’t earn the nickname “Hammerhand” for nothing. This guy can drop enemies like flies with a single punch, and that’s reflected in one of his abilities called The Hammerhand. Expect some serious fist-fueled carnage on the battlefield.
But that’s not all – as a mighty hero, Helm comes equipped with a couple of other awesome abilities we can’t reveal just yet. Keep an eye out for his Berserk Rage and the bone-chilling effects of the Horn of the Hammerhand. Spoiler alert: his enemies are in for a rough time!
More reveals for the Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle Game are on the way, so stay glued to Warhammer Community for all the latest on the king of the Rohirrim and the legendary forces of Rohan! Get ready for battle – it’s gonna be wild.
