The third and final episode of The Tithes animated anthology series, titled “Bullets”, is set to premiere soon. This installment shifts its focus from the superhuman warriors of the Imperium to the mortal humans, as they face the brutal Orks in a fight for survival.
While the previous episodes focused on the vital tithes of gene-seed and psykers—key elements in the Imperium’s war machine—this episode deals with a more essential resource: ammunition. The Imperium’s sprawling Manufactorums churn out bullets, power cells, and other munitions in vast quantities, yet there’s never enough to sustain the unending wars.
The Kasrkin, elite soldiers of the Cadian Shock Troops, take center stage in this episode, tasked with delivering much-needed ammo. Accompanied by a grizzled Commissar, they are armed with hotshot lasguns and grenade launchers, prepared for anything the Orks throw their way.
For the first time in a Warhammer animation, we’ll also see the Imperial Navy pilots in action, as a squadron of Thunderbolt aircraft engage Ork Dakkajets in aerial combat to protect the vital supply transports.
This episode highlights the Imperium’s constant struggle to resupply its forces, showing the relentless war machine in action and the unyielding threat posed by the Orks.
