Hey there, fellow Warhammer enthusiasts! Buckle up because there’s a ton of exciting news coming from the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy universe. If you’re into epic battles, legendary characters, and bolstering your armies, this update is for you.
Back in March, the Traitor Legions made their move towards Terra, igniting the epic Battle for Beta-Garmon. The new supplement for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy dives into this cataclysmic conflict, bringing rules for some of the most legendary characters who fought in this battle. And guess what? The miniatures for these heroes (and villains) are finally on their way!
Key Characters Hitting the Battlefield
Shadrak Meduson, Master of the Shattered Legions After the Drop Site Massacre, Shadrak Meduson rallied the remnants of his Legion along with survivors from the Raven Guard and Salamanders. These Shattered Legions have been a thorn in the Warmaster’s side, conducting guerilla raids with Meduson’s Terran-born strength leading the charge.
Hibou Khan, Seeker of Atonement Jaghatai Khan’s internal conflict about siding with the Emperor or the Warmaster led to some of his officers plotting for Horus. Among them was Hibou Khan, who later sought redemption through combat. His two-handed power sword, Breath of the Storm, carved through traitors at Beta-Garmon with unmatched zeal.
Tybalt Marr, Captain of the 18th Company On Horus’ orders, Tybalt Marr, a master of brutal shock tactics, was tasked with hunting down Shadrak Meduson. Equipped with his deadly Culling Blade, Marr personally dispatched many members of the Shattered Legions.
‘Little’ Horus Aximand, Captain of the 5th Company Horus Aximand, known as ‘Little Horus’, was one of the Warmaster’s most loyal Captains. Despite his reservations about treachery, he carried out Horus’ will with dedication. His prowess with the broadsword Mourn-it-all made him a formidable opponent, surviving countless wounds in battle.
