The Frontline Gaming BAO 2024 is just a few days away! This is the longest running Frontline Gaming event and is has only been possible because of the supportive local community leaders! Please read below to find out about check in, food, and all the basics.
This two day event will take place over May 25-26th, 2023 in the main meeting area of the San Francisco Airport Crown Plaza in (located in Burlingame, CA – just outside the the San Francisco airport). For those flying in, there is a free shuttle to and from the airport.
The BAO is attached to Kublacon, however most of the primary Kublacon events is located just down the street from us in another hotel. More info on Kublacon can be found HERE. If you have bought a ticket to an event at the BAO before May 1st, you should have a FREE BADGE to access Kublacon – Your name will appear on the Kublacon Con roster under the name you purchased your BAO tournament ticket with – this may not be the same as your BCP name. If someone bought your ticket for you, then please be aware that they will likely need to pick up your Kublacon Badge. The badges can be picked up in the express lane at the Hyatt Kublacon registration area. There is a free shuttle between the Crowne Plaza and Hyatt.
The FLG App:
Yes. We too have an app! It was launched at LVO and will be a used at all our event to help make things easier for the attendees. It has already been updated for the BAO.
This feature-rich app provides comprehensive access to essential event information, including items like schedules, player packs, and will eventually have things like judge paging and maps. Stay seamlessly connected with real-time updates, ensuring you’re in the know about last-minute changes and exclusive announcements. ***Please note this app is currently only available to the USA at this time. If you have trouble downloading the mobile app, you can access the browser based app by clicking the Mobile Browser App button.
Registration/Check In:
Before arrival to the BAO, please make sure you have your ticket receipt (digital QR code or just a printout please), so you can quickly get the correlating swag for the various events you are participating in and any items that are included in packages you may have purchased.
***Special note for events using BCP***
If you are playing in the 40K Champs or AoS Champs, please make sure to check in on the BCP app up to 24 hours before the event. You should have gotten a token emailed to you that allows you to register for the event in BCP. Once registered in BCP and on the event’s roster, you can then upload your list. IMPORTANT: You should be checked in to BCP before you enter the hall so that pairing can go live ASAP and we can begin round 1 on time. Make sure to hit the “Check In” button on the app within 24 hours of the first round beginning.
Location:
This event takes place in the Plaza Ballroom at the San Francisco Airport Crown Plaza Hotel(1177 Airport Blvd, Burlingame, CA 94010) located near the airport. The Old World event will also be at the Crown Plaza but will be in the Parkside Meeting room.
There is a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel!
Hall Hours:
The Ballroom will be open to the public from 8AM to 8PM Saturday and Sunday
Food and Drink:
The hotel has a bar and restaurant located . More info including the menu, can be found here.
Event Swag:
At ANY time from Saturday at 8am to Sunday at 9AM you can come by the front desk and get your Frontline Gaming Event Swag.
People cannot pick up something to hand to their friend or bring home an item for someone not in attendance. We just do not have extras and things like the FLG Challenge Coins that certain events earn are designed purely for players in attendance.
FLG Challenge Coin Perk:
If you have Frontline Gaming Challenge Coins from previous Frontline Gaming events, please present them to the Registration Desk between 10AM -7PM Saturday, or 8AM-11AM Sunday. You will receive the FLG Challenge Coin Perk!!!
Paint and Take:
At the Frontline Gaming BAO 2024, there will be a paint and take station stocked with plenty of Duncan Rhodes Two-Thin-Coats paint!
There will be brushes, water pots, and a big pile of primed minis ready for you to use and take home when finished testing out this popular new paint line! We only ask that you paint in the designated area and close all paint bottles when finished.
Preorders:
If you have items that came with your ticket (or was pre-ordered event merch), these items will need to be picked up at the front Registration Desk by 10AM on Sunday. Any items unclaimed by then will be forfeited without refund/replacement and may be sold to another person.

Assistance during the event:
Every event has their designated TOs and Judges, many of whom will be wearing yellow FLG tees. They are knowledgeable and ready to help however they can, but they all know how to reach FLG Admin if necessary.
Anyone in a black FLG Staff Tee, works directly for FLG and can assist you as well.
