Heresy Thursday – ‘Little’ Horus Aximand Appears

Horus Aximand, affectionately known as ‘Little Horus,’ was once a prominent member of the Mournival, an elite group of advisors and companions to Warmaster Horus within the Luna Wolves Legion. However, the events of the Horus Heresy fractured the Mournival, with Aximand and Ezekyle Abaddon taking divergent paths from their loyalist comrades.

Despite his moniker, Little Horus is a commanding figure, deeply committed to his troops, albeit reluctantly drawn into treachery. Resembling his gene-sire Horus, he underwent facial reconstruction after surviving an attack by Hibou Khan of the White Scars during the Dwell campaign.

Equipped with his personal power sword, Mourn-it-all, and a banestrike bolter, Little Horus also carries a Castigatus combat shield capable of unleashing a devastating pulse of force. Additionally, he can be assembled with or without his helmet.

His personal Warlord Trait, “Little Horus,” reflects his resilience despite sustaining severe wounds throughout the Horus Heresy. Moreover, his “Haunted” special rule adds intrigue to any confrontations involving Garviel Loken.

Little Horus Aximand’s rules are featured in the upcoming supplement, “Campaigns of the Age of Darkness – The Battle for Beta-Garmon.” Crafted in Forge World resin, this miniature will be available soon for collectors and players alike.
