At Frontline Gaming events you can unlock special edition dice through your accomplishments . Think of these as Boy Scout merit badges or video game “achievements,” but in the form of dice.
There are several different achievements you can do to earn these dice. Each achievement has its own bespoke die. Every time that a judge at an event determines that you have accomplished one these achievements, you will earn a die for it, so you can work towards a full set.
These ultra premium dice are custom made exclusively for Frontline Gaming by Baron of Dice, the leading manufacture specializing in quality tabletop wargaming dice! The dice feature a matte finish, squared off edges, and are engraved with gold pips and logos on the “6” side.
At launch there will be 5 different achievements awarded by Frontline Gaming judges. Each game system’s head judge(TO) hands out these dice, and it is up to their discretion as to who gets awarded. While there is a general theme for each achievement, it is ultimately the individual head judges that make the final call on who earns achievement dice and how many they will hand out during their tournament. The 5 initial achievement dice that can be earned are:
- Indomitable – Finish the entire tournament by playing in each round, even if you have lost every single game.
- Young Gun – Participate in a tournament if you are under the age of 18.
- Fluff Bunny – Include extreme elements of lore or have a cohesive theme that your army is based around. Cosplay can be a huge part of this.
- Skilled Painter- Have a superbly painted army that stands out from the majority of the event’s participants. This may include making the top cut or showcase at an event, or be purely based off a paint score.
- Good Human – Be the best possibly opponent and demonstrate exemplary sportsmanship during the event. This is not limited to just actions taken during games but at the event as a whole.
The Frontline Gaming Achievement Dice will be launching at LVO 2024. Most if not all game systems will be part of this exciting new element of Frontline Gaming events! Moving forward, each player-pack will have a logo posted within it, certifying that it will be a Frontline Gaming Achievement Dice Event, so you will know that you can earn these awesome dice!
