Update from the Warhammer World Championships – Day 1

Hi all,
After an exciting day 1, we have another fast-paced day ahead. The group stages of the event will be finishing today with 3/5 games yet to be played. Let’s take a look at the points earned by each country so far:

Looks like my wildcard pick of Germany for my fantasy roster isn’t looking so hot!

The 40k group stage has produced a few early surprises so far. Well-known players including Nassim Fouchane, Innes WIlson, and TJ Lanigan have suffered early defeats throwing doubt on their ability to compete for the Best General award. We still have a lot of 40k to play, as well as a night of reveals ahead of us so stay tuned for more updates!
