Conquest Reveals new Eidolons, Twisted Inquisitors and Killer Satyrs

Conquest players, get excited, there are new units being released for the City States faction!

Para Bellum Games, publisher of fantasy Mass Combat Miniature Wargame “Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings” and Skirmish ruleset “Conquest: First Blood,” has unveiled the next releases for the City States faction. With the perverse Inquisitors of the Scholae, led by the Eidolon Brute Character, and the agile infantries of the Selinoi and the Satyroi, City States warlords have new and versatile tools in their arsenals. Last Argument of Kings players will see new Brutes on their armylists, plus new melee and ranged infantry entries, all four releases will also have their First Blood armylist entries revealed. So, as ever in Conquest, on top of hours of hobby time with exciting new minis to paint, all four of these releases will be useable to not one, but two games!

“So far, we have perhaps focused on the more industrial and military aspects of the City States,” says Founder and Creative Director of Para Bellum Games, Stavros Halkias. “But one must not forget how versatile and mystical the City States culture is – how myth is one with reality in their cities or how dangerous their genius can prove on the field.” Marrying the lore feel of the twisted ingenuity of the City States with the minis on the table, both the Eidolon Character and the Inquisitors are bound to turn heads with their design – and their performance in any army list. Showcasing just how far the hybris of the Scholae can reach, these terrifying fabrications are as much of a terror to behold as they are to face on the field of battle. At the same time, the Satyroi and Selinoi are proof of how accepting Plato’s dream was when he founded the City States – and just how far reality stirred from it. Scorned by their human peers, the Selinoi avoided the cities, evolving into a perfect scouting ranged force, while their Satyroi brethren embraced their hatred for their oppressors, turning into cunning and savage killers and skirmishes without peer on the field.
