The much-awaited new edition of Warhammer 40,000 is finally here, and with it comes the promise of an exciting new Space Marine codex on the horizon. Set to release later this year, the codex brings a wave of reinforcements for the valiant Adeptus Astartes forces scattered across the Imperium.
With an already extensive Space Marine range, it’s time to make way for the glorious new miniatures by letting some of the longest-serving kits take a well-earned retirement. Don’t worry, fans of Firstborn Space Marines – despite rumors circulating in the noosphere, they aren’t being erased from the 41st Millennium. The new Space Marines Codex will still feature plenty of non-Primaris units, catering to those who prefer the classic models. Expect Tactical Squads riding in Rhinos and Devastator Squads providing covering fire, just as you’ve always known them.
For units being phased out, fear not, for many of them have contemporary analogues to replace them. Your trusted Bike Squad, which has served the Emperor for two decades, can continue its heroic journey in your army using the rules for Outriders. Similarly, while Assault Squads are bidding farewell, you can still play with them using the rules for Vanguard Veterans.
And the Venerable Dreadnought is not going anywhere! In the new Codex, it simply shortens its name to “Dreadnought” but retains its role and can represent older plastic or metal Dreadnought models in your army.
Warhammer 40,000 continues to evolve, and with these changes, the gameplay experience becomes even more diverse and engaging. So, prepare yourself for the upcoming Space Marine codex and embrace the new era of Warhammer 40,000 with open arms. Let the battles commence and forge new legends in the grim darkness of the far future!

Is this a copy paste of the GW article?
It is not.
Except for the part where bikes actually have war gear options and outriders mostly don’t. Same compare with tacticals vs intercessors.
