AoS: Cities of Sigmar: Meet the Wildercorps Hunters!

Across the Mortal Realms, the Cities of Sigmar embark on daring missions to reclaim lost settlements from the Age of Chaos. Leading the charge are the mighty Dawnbringer Crusades, supported by a diverse array of forces, including seasoned marshals, rifle-toting Fusiliers, and formidable Ogor Warhulks with their keen-eyed companions.

While these Castelite formations exude power, they also become prime targets for agile enemy warbands seeking to exploit flanks and target vulnerable stragglers. To ensure the safety of their territorial advances, astute generals deploy specialized bands of Wildercorps Hunters as stealthy scouts.

The Wildercorps Hunters are masters of tracking, possessing an intimate knowledge of the rugged landscapes of the Mortal Realms. Often recruited from the Reclaimed – those who endured the harsh grip of Chaos for generations while Azyr remained closed – they have weathered sickness, hunger, and brutal conditions, honing their skills to perfection.

Equipped with unparalleled tracking abilities, Wildercorps squads scout the environment, identifying traps and enemy sappers with ease. Accompanied by Trailhounds, renowned for their keen senses and powerful jaws, they detect rival scouting parties and explore treacherous warrens, where they lie in ambush, ready to strike.

When battles erupt, these hardy pioneers employ their foreknowledge of the battlefield to remain virtually invisible to their foes. They can’t be targeted while in cover or beyond a 12-inch range. With their arbalests trained on crucial targets, they aim for vulnerable spots to inflict additional Rend damage during their devastating ambushes.

Not content with serving as scouts for larger armies, the Wildercorps Hunters also venture into Warcry battles as a formidable warband. Comprising skilled loners and fierce hounds, they prove their mettle against other bands that bring their own pets into the fray, such as the Royal Beastflayers’ Offal Hounds and the Monsta-Killaz’ tamed simian Howlaz.

As the Cities of Sigmar Army Set draws closer to its release, the forces of the Cities of Sigmar continue to grow with numerous reinforcements preparing to join the ranks. Stay tuned to Warhammer Community for more exciting reveals and updates! The mysteries of the Gnarlwood await, and the Wildercorps Hunters are prepared for any challenge that comes their way.
