One of my favorite ways to play miniature games is at the doubles level. There is something about having a teammate to run ideas past, commiserate over bad rolls, and just pass the time. TO that end, what double events are there for you at the LVO?
Warhammer 40K Long War Doubles
LVO 2024’s Warhammer 40k Long War Doubles is a beloved tradition at LVO! This is Doubles Tournament with weighted hobby scores, and a totally more relaxed vibe that a ton of people thoroughly enjoy after playing the in LVO 40K Champs. This unique 40K formatted event is run by The Long War podcast team and more info can be found from the link above. You only need to purchase one ticket for the two members of the team: one ticket per team.

If one of the players on the doubles team makes it into the 40K Champs finals on Sunday, then you will be refunded in full for this ticket.
This event will take place Sunday. This is a doubles event that has teams of two players playing combined forces versus others. We will be using the same beautiful tables as the Champs event. At the the end of the day, one team will stand above the rest! However before that a bunch of fun will be had rolling dice and sharing games. Find your teammate and get ready to roll dice and have fun with our Age of Sigmar family. This ticket is for one two person team (one ticket per team). If you do make it to the top cut in the Age of Sigmar or 40K Champs and are playing on Sunday, then you will be refunded in full for this ticket.
Welcome to the 5th Anniversary of Star Wars Legion at LVO! The Doubles Event takes place on Sunday where teams of two players battle it out in this fun, casual event. One ticket is purchase per team.

There’s no better way to hang out and meet and greet players than Doubles!! Players will change teammates each round. 3 rounds. 24-26 pts per player. 50 pts total per side. All types of prizes will be available for this one, not just winners. New players welcome! Come hang out that night at the super fun A Song of Ice and Fire After Hours event on Friday.
