New Tyranid Big Bug Spotted!

The Tyranids are bringing the heat with this new kit, the Norn Emissary and Norn Assimilator!

In the sprawling horrorscape teeming with insatiable abominations that form the Tyranid Hive Fleets, a select few loom over their lesser counterparts – the physical embodiment of the Hive Mind’s will, a monstrosity that revolts and terrifies in equal measure.

Emerging from the seething mass, we’re introducing the latest representatives of this inhuman terror: the Norn Emissary and the Norn Assimilator. These formidable creatures come into existence when the Hive Mind must ensure the accomplishment of a mission of paramount importance.

The Norn Emissary claims a special place in the hive structure as perhaps the ultimate synapse creature, dwarfing even the mighty Hive Tyrant. The Emissary’s purpose is laser-focused: to hunt down adept commanders and capture knowledgeable victims ensconced within heavily fortified strongholds.

Prior to engagement, the Norn Queen saturates this beast with a concentrated wealth of knowledge, necessary to secure success in its endeavors. This vital knowledge is employed in a lethal blend of raw power and astounding psychic ability, complimented by a level of agility that defies the laws of nature considering its enormous size.

If the Norn Emissary represents the intellectual capacity of the Hive Fleet, the Norn Assimilator personifies its brute force. Whenever the Hive Fleet determines that a particular target creature or stronghold must be obliterated, it unleashes the relentless Norn Assimilator.

Faced with such overpowering extraterrestrial might, the only logical recourse is to flee. However, in its infinite alien wisdom, the Hive Mind has already anticipated this response. Thus, the Norn Assimilator comes equipped with a pair of colossal toxinjector harpoons to anchor its victims to the spot.

These twin terrors, amalgams of flesh and chitin exuding palpable malevolence, can be constructed from the same dual kit. Stay tuned for more reveals throughout the day as we plunge deeper into the hive’s horrors.
