Since the fateful crash of the Seraphon temple-ship, the Eye of Chotec, into Ghur, the once serene Gnarlwood has transformed into a savage and treacherous jungle. Infested with carnivorous plants and ferocious monsters, this unforgiving landscape entices warbands with the allure of powerful arcane relics.
Captivated by this brutal dominion, the monster hunters of the Mortal Realms, including the haughty Askurgan Trueblades and the deranged Royal Beastflayers, now face fresh competition from a group of exceptionally ruthless poachers.
Introducing the Monsta-Killaz, a cunning cadre of Kruleboyz who specialize in hunting, slaying, and capturing the most formidable monsters across the Mortal Realms. Their mission: to fill the stables of the Beast-breaka tribes with vicious war-beasts. Any unfortunate creatures that fail to survive the brutal taming process meet an alternative fate as stylish pelts and trophies—proof that orruks are not averse to recycling.
Each Monsta-Killa band is led by a seasoned Beastnob, adorned with a hoard of trophies and armed with a fearsome trident. These orruks take pride in their ability to capture their quarry alive. However, they wisely avoid confronting Ghur’s fiercest alpha predators in their full-grown forms. Instead, their strategy revolves around snatching eggs and capturing young offspring, which are more easily tamed.
Executing their plans requires a blend of cunning traps and deceptive tactics. The Kruleboyz initiate a cunning diversion, while disposable Klutcha-grots or tamed Gnarlwood Howlaz infiltrate nests to retrieve precious eggs—an invaluable treasure. The rowdy Bawla Boys excel at drawing attention, creating a raucous symphony of animalistic cries and erratic beats to distract and disorientate monsters.
Exploiting these distractions, the Neckslicers ambush their foes with beaststikka harpoons, bonehakkas, and smashas. These colossal weapons are designed to incapacitate formidable creatures, yet the merciless orruks harbor no qualms about turning them on weaker adversaries, delivering lethal blows with devastating consequences.
In addition to their exploits within the shadowed skirmishes of the Gnarlwood, these formidable Orruks can also be seamlessly integrated into Orruk Warclans armies in Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
