Hello Arkhamites! It’s been a while but your Warden has returned and just in time to tell you of the next big Tournament happening in the UK
The UKGE is right around the Corner and its being hosted by the wonderful Sidekick Crispian who’s been slowly plotting and organising the downfall of Gotham City with a variety of rogues attending the event, staking their claim for the next crown of Gotham!
The Tournament will be following normal Bat-Match rules and are allowing Eternal models at the event (for you 40k players out that that basically means the tournament is allowing legends). AT the event we have the following Crews Attending the event:
Batman X2 (Duh!)
Soldiers of Fortune
Riddler X2
Batman Who Laughs
Birds of Prey
League of Assassins
As you can see some Crews are not present like Freeze and the Recent Scarecrow but the Crews are still filled with a ton of variety as each list is widely different using different Leaders in the same Crew Like the Riddler Players.
And the second Riddler List:
The Riddler maybe the same Character but the two Leaders are quite different and the lists deviate to fulfil each player machinations on the board. Likewise, the League of Assassins look very good to insert their plans of world domination. Let’s take a deeper look at their List:
The List is quite standard for the League, Raj doing Raj things and being one of the most killy models in the game backed up by Ubu who can give inspire to the Ninjas so that raj isn’t hampered by trying to wander off and take heads or being the inspiring presence that he is, but what makes this List interesting to see is the use of Talia (DKR) in the list. The League has a lot of tools to take on and quickly dispatch their enemies but the other half of their playstyle is Suspect dominance. This is something that Talia does very well with her Scheming (3) trait as this allows her to be able to move upto 3 Suspect Markers a turn which helps cards such as “Do not Deviate from the Plan”, “Blood for Blood”, “We Cannot be Defeated”, “The Fire Rises” and “Under their Noses” as it these cards need to score with the present use of Friendly Suspect Markers or have Suspect Markers move out of their way so they do not hamper themselves to speed up the scoring rhythm to the plan.
The Prize Support as well looks to be a very tasteful use practical approach to thematic token and widgets to the full playing mat for first place.
The players in these events have all their crew painted to fit the moody and broody streets of Gotham! All crew looks fantastic and they will look amazing when they clash on the boards at the UKGE.
So, if you’re looking to see a real fight on the Streets of Gotham at the UKGE then head over to the Batman Miniatures game Tournament happening in Hall 3, Tournament B, section Row F and meet a friendly bunch of gamers all to willing to talk about the best game you have yet to play!

That’s all from your Warden right now but be sure to check out next week for a review on the Tournament standings and a review at the top 3 places!
