this faction will be interesting as it represents the first pseudo-sub faction we get ot see! How will GW differentiate them from the Chaos Space Marines?
Let’s start with the faction ability:
This is a sort-of watered down version of Strands of Fate, but it affects all your units on the field. It is nice to get some choices here but you are the mercy of RNG.
The ability of the Bezerkers is amazing, and will make them deadly vs MSU armies. The fact that you can move into engagement range is just the cherry on the top!
Angron is the first T11 model we have seen and his pseudo-revive mechanic is back. His auras are decent but nothing incredible. As you would expect it looks like he can tackle anything and the 2+/4++ save is really nice!.
The new Daemongore cannon is pretty good, and also interesting to see that it hits on a 3+. With the changes to Votann I wondered if daemons and Eldar guardians would go back to hitting on 4+.
Lastly, we have their stratagem. This is a great way to troll your opponent after he shoots you off your back field objective. It looks like it will be much easier to get sticky objectives this edition which should make for a more dynamic game!
