I will start by acknowledging that thee wasn’t as much here as I had hoped. I was optimistic that we would get a release date, but alas we still need to guess.
As we focus on what we did get, there are some amazing models! The focus on the Tomb Kings and the Bretonnians is really nice and both got new models to show off.
The Bretonnian Paladin is wonderful and it is a callback to the other questing knight models that are loaded down with gear.
The new Tomb king also looks pretty cool, I don’t like the flesh hue they picked but I think they wanted to make it stand out a bit.
Other than that we did get some detail in the QA session worth mention.
An important note is that GW said there will be no starter box. However, what GW defines as a starter box is a box for people who are just entering war-gaming for the first time. So think about the 40k Indomitus and associated boxes. Technically, the Horus Heresy doesn’t have a starter box either so everyone, stop complaining!
