Ding ding ding! Wake up everyone! Today’s the day! We are getting our first look at the minis in the new 10th ed starter box, called Leviathan! Let’s dive into the Space Marine models!
The box comes with no less than four leader models, speaking to how important they will be in 10th! First up is the new Captain in Terminator armor!
We have already seen the Librarian model here
Also included is the new Lt model
One of the first really interesting reveals is the Apothecary Biologis. Apparently, these guys are more scientist than doctor and can analyses fallen foes. I wonder if this will be an upgrade choice for apothecaries? Or will it be a completely new unit?
Also included, but not pictured are the new terminators. They are not the only elites though! We also are getting a new Sternguard squad!
People have often speculated about the new flamer models scene in the video. Well, we get to see the new squad as well as their datasheet!
The last major model included is the new Ballistus Dreadnought. the fully ranged version of the contemptor, that is rocking a lascannon and missile launcher array, alongside other weapons!
Wow what a dump of information! There is a lot to process here! If Sternguard units are now Primaris is there a place for the older models? That Ballistus dread can give it self some re-rolls which is a little troubling for an edition that is supposed to be less deadly. Whatever you think the new models are incredible!
has anyone found a pic of the sternguard datasheet? are we seeing yet another blurring of the old firstborn/primaris lines?
