We are breaking down the new Rivals Decks shown on the Warhammer Community site today. Included are a host of exciting new abilities and powers!
The two new decks have different focuses Seismic Shock is more geared towards spellcasters while Toxic Terrors is more nefarious.
These cards are from the Seismic Shock deck and show off its focus. The ability to automatically cast a spell is very nice, especially if your warband has multiple spellcasters. Manipulating the Realmsphere doesn’t award a lot of points but can be good early on. Given how few warbands have spellcasters it can be almost automatic for some groups.
As you can See Toxic Terrors has some nasty surprises. Being able to prevent your opponent from carrying out super-actions can be devastating and Bleeding Out can set up some brutal kills. Both of these victory cards have lower values but seem much easier to achieve. You will be at the mercy of the dice a bit if you are making multiple attacks but I am guessing the poison upgrades will be worth it.
