Hey everyone! Adam, FLG Head Judge and host of TFG Radio, here this week to help you find where some of the information is for Frontline Gaming’s events.
It can sometimes be hard to find information for events. Frontline has been running events for over 10 years now. There have been plenty of documents created throughout these years that it can sometimes be difficult to figure out which one is the correct document to use or reference when attending a Frontline event or if you want your event to follow the same format that Frontline uses. So here I will point you to where to find the current guidelines we are using for our events. Remember that these are always subject to change due to various factors, like a new edition of the game, and is mainly focused on 40K and Age of Sigmar but many elements can be applied to other games systems, if they don’t already have something in place.
Season Guidelines
First up are the guidelines for the season. This can be found on the main ITC page when you click on “ITC” on the header of the website.
Once of the ITC page you click on the link that says “40k & AoS 2023 Season ITC Format“
This will take you to the page that will give you the current guidelines for the season. Right now I am still in the process of updating the guidelines so expect to be constantly updated for the foreseeable future.
Code of Conduct and Paint Rubric
One of the other things we are asked about is where to locate the most recent copies of the Code of Conduct and the Paint Rubric we are currently using for our events. Although the code of conduct is on the same page as the guidelines, you can get to it quicker as it is also on the ITC page.
You’ll notice that there is also the paint guidelines in between the Code of Conduct and the Paint Rubric. That is basically the minimum paint requirements for players in order to participate in our events. You will also see that just below the rectangle is the link to ask rules questions, where to see the responses, and the basing chart we use for our events.
Event Metrics
This last section are the metrics we use to determine winners for our events, 40K specifically but could apply to any of our non 40K events. Here you can see how we do pairings, placing and how Paragon of the Hobby is chosen.
As a reminder again, these are always adjusted for any new info or ideas we decide to incorporate in these metrics so they may be updated from time to time. I will be sure to let everyone know when this happens.
