It looks like GW is pushing hard for vehicles to be a big part of this edition with a range of revamped abilities. Vehicles will be tougher, more capable, and less affected by degradation.
To kick things off, we get to see the new Rhino datasheet. It now has an OC of 2 as well as a Toughness of 9. It also no longer hits on 6’s in close combat, intriguing. It’s explosion rules have been simplified as well as picking up it’s old ability to let units shoot from the back hatch. I wonder how they will hand re-rolls? This was a big question at times in 9th ed.
Many of the marine vehicles got massive upgrades to their toughness, while also no longer suffering penalties to hit until they are down to 1/3rd of their wounds. This will reduce the disparity between degrading/non-degrading vehicles, and make them a lot more viable going forward. Repulsors getting an OC of 5 is also notable as they can shoot a lot of things off an objective as well. I am pretty hyped for these changes. I think vehicles were way too fragile in the last edition and throwing open the doors here will improve the game immensely. With a wider array of toughness’s the distinction between each vehicle becomes more meaningful!

chimera runs over genestealer and spins for tracks to damage (like all tank crews in USA army do to infantry!) what is the damage as you are crunching it to wet chitin pieces. How to figure chimera crashes into side of an ork truck=damage please. I paid $70 for 9th edition rules with no help there for vechicles or weapons.
