In today’s Warhammer Community post we got to see more details about the upcoming Blades of Khorne Battletome for Age of Sigmar.
The Gorechosen Core Battalion is a new detachment for your forces:
There are a wide variety of units that can fit into this detachment, Slaughterpreists, Deathbringers, and Skullgrinders all have their own role. This last unit can provide a permanent buff to hero units within 8″! Don’t worry the new Realmgore Ritualist will fit in the detachment!
If you are interested in some of the other buffs the army can provide GW has whipped up something special for you.
The detachment provides your army with a free enhancement and one enticing option might be the Gorechosen command trait giving extra melee attacks to all Gorechosen within 16″ .The buffs don’t end there though your army now has a nice source of “Strikes First” through this command ability:
It looks like the Blades of Khorne are picking up some hefty buffs in this update. With the ability to grant extra attacks, more flexibility in movement and the chance to fight first this army will be a prime melee opponent. The Gorechosen detachment will be a powerful option for the devotees of Khorne but time will tell how effective it will be.
