In today’s new release for the Horus Heresy we got the exciting reveal of the new Vindicator kit! This kit not only comes with the traditional model you all know and love, it also adds the option to create the formidable Laser-Destroyer variant.
The traditional kit is reworked to be built on the older Deimos Rhino chassis. In the Horus Heresy these guns aren’t quite as formidable as they use to be but the tank itself is pretty resilient. With a frontal armor value of 13 and the “Reinforced” and “Bombard” subtypes it is actually quite difficult to stop it from firing.
The other option you can build includes a fearsome laser-destroyer giving the tank the ability to hit well above its weight. In Iron Warrior (or even in squadrons of Night Lords) this thing can be a real danger to enemy vehicle. Alongside the main gun option you can equip it with a variety of weapon mounts in accordance with your legions dictates and tastes.
This tank has long been a favorite of mine and I am thrilled with this release. I can’t wait to see what the laser-destroyer will do to my legion’s foes!
