There Is A New Commander In Town For The Galactic Republic

Clone Commander Cody, Waxer and Boil (his Lost Planet Airmen, as I like to call them) are heading to Star Wars: Legion, presumably in a (Model) A-Wing, passing speeders like they’re standing still!

Kenobi said “son, you’re gonna drive me to drinkin’ if you don’t stop playin’ that Star Wars: Legion.” That’s right, Commander Cody is coming to Legion! GAR players rejoice!

This box comes with three miniatures, all with variable head options, including bareheaded, phase I and phase II helmets. It is unclear if there are enough options to go around for all three models, which is to say, it is unclear how many there are of each option. We can at least hope that there are enough Phase I and II helmets to go around.

Clone troopers Waxer and Boil of Ghost Company can be added to Clone Trooper core units as personnel upgrades. Cody is, obviously, a commander and comes with three unique command cards.

Clone Commander Cody, designated CC-2224, was a Marshal Commander of the 7th Sky Corps and served directly under Obi-Wan Kenobi for most of the Clone Wars, commanding the vaunted 212th Attack Battalion. Cody would serve with distinction throughout the Clone Wars, being involved in dozens of actions until eventually executing the infamous Order 66.

Waxer and Boil were part of Ghost Company, a famous company inside a famous battalion. They were recognized as the company’s best scouts and were frequently deployed in the same area where Cody and Kenobi were operating. These three models should make excellent, thematic additions to Galactic Republic armies representing Kenobi’s troops.

Gray was lucky (and old) enough to buy a box of RTB01 space marines new off the shelf and the rest is history. His passion for miniatures and game development has lead him into sales and production roles for tabletop companies, and on Quixotic personal ventures as well. He loves retro, historical and indie gaming, has a keenly honed sense of nostalgia for 40K and WFB, and loves to paint. Most of his gaming is done with his two sons who are just discovering the joys of the hobby, and the rest of his time is spent reading History, Fantasy and Sci-Fi, or painting minis and writing games for fun.
