How Brutal is the Brutalis?

Hi all,
In today’s community article we got to explore the new rules for the Brutalis Dreadnought. The melee version of the Redemptor, it carries with it a fairly effective set of combat weapons.

This compares pretty favorably with the fist option which has one less AP, and no re-rolls or attack options. Although you do give up on some firepower.

Your primary shooting weapons will be a pair of multi-melts or heavy bolters and the question of cost here remains paramount. I think many people will want to keep their dreads cheap since they will be a prime target for your opponent. Time will tell if they get any added protections. Iron Hands players might get away with more upgrades, but we shall see what they get a new codex.
