Perhaps all of these jokes are a bit tired, but it looks like our first lawyer mini has appeared! With the announcement of a new Khadron Overlords book, we got a peek at the new unit contained within! The Codewright is a special character in a Khadron army whose job it is to find loopholes and exceptions to their contracts. Armed with the latest legal texts the unit can help you squeeze the most out of every battle.
The tongue-in-cheek jokes continue onto the gaming table. During the battle you can have your Codewright search for footnotes to aid your army.
While we don’t know how many of these footnotes there are, they did display a few options below:
I have to say I do find this all quite humorous. The lawyer/GW jokes write themselves but it is a clever addition to the army. I think these types of models do give the Khadron Overlords a distinct flavor compared to other dwarves, even if it doesn’t exactly make sense how a lawyer would impact the battle so directly. I am curious to see what else will come when the book releases. I wonder if there will be further litigious rules and mechanics in their Path to Glory section?
