Star Wars Shatterpoint is an upcoming skirmish scale miniatures game set in the Star Wars universe with rules from the same team that gave us the excellent Marvel Crisis Protocol!

Marvel Crisis Protocol is one of my favorite minis games out there at the moment, not only because I grew up reading marvel Comics but because it is just a very well designed game with a flourishing community of players and beautiful miniatures. The game is quick to play, relatively intuitive (as minis games go) and feels like you are playing the characters as they appear in the comics (within some reasonable limitations for game balance).
If Shatterpoint delivers the same solid rules that are fun, fast and capture the feel of the IP they represent in the Star Wars universe with what we can already see are gorgeous minis, we’re going to have an all star game on our hands. I personally cannot wait to try it and you can rest assured Frontline Gaming will be picking up the full line for our web-cart.
