Atomic Mass Games dropped a preview of what Moff Gideon is going to be like.
Gideon is a former high-ranking member of the Galactic Empire who has become a warlord in the aftermath of the Empire’s fall. He is a skilled military strategist and a formidable opponent, and is known for his pursuit of the bounty hunter known as the Mandalorian. Star Wars: Legion releases Mogg Gideon soon and is currently available for pre-order.
Coming in at 100 points, Gideon sports 5 health and 3 courage. With the ability to give a trooper unit a free action along with Tactical 1 to give him aim tokens.
Not only can Gideon use Observe 1 to give a reroll against a single target, he can also ignore rank requirements with Entourage: Imperial Dark Troopers. Equipping Gideon with the Darksaber, he gains 5 black attack dice.

Moff Gideon’s Command Cards provide a number of options to react to any battlefield situation he finds himself in. When he’s ready to take the fight to his enemies, Die At My Hand gives Moff Gideon a Dodge token, Aim token, and Relentless. If Moff Gideon instead needs to focus on an essential objective, he can utilize You Have Something I Want to send a squad of his elite Dark Troopers to where they are needed most. Finally, Moment of Consideration gives his quarry a chance to consider their options while Moff Gideon sets up his coup de grâce, giving up to three units Fire Support.
