The fine folks over at Para Bellum Games have been cranking out new models and factions for the rank and file fantasy miniatures game: Conquest. This latest faction announces for 2023 is the City States, inspired by classic Greek history.

February, we will bring the launch of our 7th faction, City States. We will have a full press release on this exciting faction with more details and rules in the new year. We debuted imagery of the new Hoplites and Phalangites infantry sets in their painted glory. The City States will be the Conquest view of the classic Greek Warriors, with compelling sculptures, fantastic creatures including new Minotaurs, and unique giants like our new Hephaestian and Promethean. We will debut our new 2 player starter set also in February, the City States vs the Nords. Everything 2 players need to start playing right away, at an incredible value – $179.99, which saves the gamer $200 over the individual pricing for the sets, and includes 2 exclusive Character sculptures – a unique Polemarch and Konungyr for these armies.
Additionally, more units are inbound for the new faction, The Old Dominion, which is an undead flavored, Roman inspired faction.
