We’re back with another great week at FLG giving you a rundown of some awesome articles for your pretty eyeballs.

THE ARTICLES

The newest season of events has just been announced with 2 new events gracing the circuit for the months of March and September. That means the only months without an FLG event are April, November and December, so what are you waiting for? Each event has awesome tournaments and games to partake in from Marvel Crisis Protocol all the way to Warhammer 40,000. Check out the article and see what’s going on!

The SoCal OPEN Hall of Fame has been updated to the recent winners of this years SoCal event. We’ve got the winners of Marvel Crisis Protocol, Age of Sigmar, Star Wars Legion, you name it!

Carly talks about the new models dropping for the much enjoyed A Song of Ice and Fire miniatures game from Game of Thrones. People have been loving it and the Martells have just hit the shelves. There’s also Dune Vipers, Starfall Outriders and Starfall Knights coming to the game and this article has the lowdown of it all.

Our very own Jason Butler made the trek down to the SoCal Open and wrote down his thoughts of the event from playing in it. From the anger of facing off against Tyranids to the stagnation of lists being very similar to each other. The SoCal Open is a huge event with some of the most cutthroat competition but it’s also one of the most fun events that FLG has to offer.

Paddington returns to speak about the sad realization that the Cursed City Game is all but forgotten which makes him and all the other people that purchased the game waiting for an expansion to develop buyers remorse. He goes over the problems with the base game and why the post game content coming out for it just doesn’t make any sense.

Bugproletariate gives us a rundown of his favorite part of the Genestealer Cults book, the Psychic Powers. He talks about the powers that we just don’t see a lot of use from and how strong they can potentially be. From Might From Beyond to Mental Onslaught, this article tells you about all them and why they’re just so much fun to use.

THE PODCASTS

Signals goes over the SoCal Open and talks about the winners of the events that took place. Seth also speak about how the League’s of Votann had a better run at the Come the Apocalypse event. Finally they do an in depth break down of the events coming up in 2023 from FLG.

The gang breaks down the largest team event called the Tavalera GT.

The cast of Grim After Dark go over the Balance Dataslate for Warhammer 40,000 and how it was pretty…meh. They also go through the schedule of 2023 events for FLG before talking about the number one coaching tool in chess.
