After our guest interview last week we are back on with our regularly scheduled programming. Following the concerns about my list options two weeks ago I have firmed up my list options. The FAQ update for the Chaos Space Marines has given my Chosen a few more options which is nice but there are no updates on the Forge World units. Currently I would lose access to the Let the Galaxy Burn if I take the Blood Slaughterers. but I would also heal 2 wounds a turn (these units have the Daemon Engine rule and another that allows them to regain wounds). I talked to the organizers and they said they planned on using the 30-day cutoff for the FAQ but would make adjustments on a case-by-case basis. I am a little worried we won’t get a FAQ in time but who knows?
It’s a bit messy still so nothing is final but here is what my early lists are looking like:

Now that we have that pretty well nailed down, I thought I would also share some of my pictures (as well as my “rustic” attempt at a light-box) for the coming event. The Blood Slaughterers were in rough shape when I got them so I had to print some replacement parts with varying levels of success.
Goals for the Next Update:
- Finalize the 1500 lists
- Finish painting all units
- Maybe try out a game with my main list?
