Hot off the press we Asmondee has revealed the models for four new boxes coming out later this year; Baratheon Heroes 3, Baratheon Heroes 4, Targaryen Heroes 3, and Varamyr Sixskins. They have also added the descriptions which may give us some insight to what we can expect from the rules.
Baratheon Heroes 3 – Stannis Loyalty
Expand for Contents
6 miniatures
19 cards
5 Attachement cards
2 NCU Cards
12 tactics cards
“House Baratheon’s claim to the Iron Throne has been strengthened as King Stannis Baratheon is the only monarch to face the growing threat that lurks beyond the Wall. In addition, King Stannis proves to be a leader like no other when he is present on the battlefield, as he manages to keep his troops strong and united even when the odds continue to increase. This is no doubt helped by the fact that his loyal retainers Justin Massey, Dale Seaworth, and his squire Bryen Farring are among his most skilled commanders. Finally, and already off the battlefield, there is Maester Cressen, his wise adviser and inexhaustible source of sensible proposals; and Patchface, a curious creature who, despite being the court jester, is of great use to his king thanks to his strange but insightful jokes.”
From top left to right. Bryen Farring, Patchface, and Maester Cressen. On the bottom row, left to right. We have Justin Massey, King Stannis Baratheon, and Dale Seaworth.
From the 12 Tactics Cards we know there will be two Commanders which is very likely going to be King Stannis Baratheon and Justin Massey. With 5 Attachment Cards this will be the two Commander Cards, plus an Attachment Card for Dale, Bryen, and Justin. The 2 NCU Cards will be Maester Cressen and Patchface. Not much more we can gleem from this, however to get a Cavalry Commander for the Baratheons is beyond epic. Looking forward to seeing those Stannis Cavalry lists in the future.
Baratheon Heroes 4 – Renly’s Rainbow Kingsguard
Expand for Contents
12 miniatures (including 4 Baratheon banners)
16 cards:
1 unit card
8 Attachment cards
6 tactics cards
1 special rules card
“Whether leading their own units or rallying around King Renly Baratheon in support of his claims, the heroes of the Rainbow Guard are some of the most skilled warriors to ever walk the battlefields of the War of the Five Kings. They include Ser Loras Tyrell, Ser Robar Royce, Lord Bryce Caron, Ser Emmon Cuy, Ser Guyard Morrigen, Brienne of Tarth, and Ser Parmen Crane. Although all of them have proven to be highly skilled commanders, their effectiveness in combat reaches the highest levels when deployed as a compact unit alongside King Renly himself; however, this is not only due to their expertise, but also because they are a symbol around which all the King’s troops in the South are grouped.”
Top row, from left to right. Loras Tyrell Lord Commander, Emmon Cuy the Yellow, and Robar Royce the Red. Second row, from left to right. Guyard Morrigen the Green, and Bryce Caron the Orange. Bottom row, from left to right. King Renly Baratheon, Brienne of Tarth the Blue, and Parmen Crane the Purple.
Isn’t this exciting? A seond Kingsguard Unit added to the game and it is stuffed with absolute beasts! I am super excited to dive into this box and see what glorious creative juices have been brewing since the rules for the Lannister Kingsguard, together and separate, are so different from anything else.
Targaryen Heroes 3 – The Missing Characters
Sadly the information for this box has been uploaded ot the sight in error, and in its place is all the details for Varamyr Sixskins. However, we did get a blurb from the GAMA event that may help.
“In far off Essos, Queen Daenerys Targaryen rules over a court rife with intrigue. But while her subjects may involve themselves in plot after plot against each other (and indeed against the Queen herself), they stand united against their enemies in the field. With advisors and councilors such as Mirri Maz Duur, Hizdahr Zo Loraq, the scribe Missandei, and the mysterioes Quaithe, the Dragon Queen sows confusion upon her enemies, while her commanders Marselen and Skahaz Mo Kandaq keep their troops in line, both by example and the whip’s bloody lash.”
Top row, from left to right. Skahaz Mo Kandaq, Marselen, and Mirri maz Duur. Bottom row, from left to right. Missandei, Hizdahr Zo Loraq, and Quaithe.
Fro the text alone I think this box will contain 2 Commanders in Skahaz and Marselen, and then an Attachement card to use them with other Commanders. The rest could all be NCUs with a trickle of Attachments here an there.
Varamyr Sixskins
Expand for Contents
4 miniatures
11 cards
3 unit cards
1 Attachment card
1 special rules card
6 tactics cards
3 small individual movement trays
“One of the most powerful skinchangers to be found beyond the Wall, Varamyr Sixskin simultaneously controls a snowbear, three wolves, a shadowcat, and an eagle. In combat, he mounts the back of his massive snow bear and commands his many beasts in coordinated attacks. Furthermore, nothing escapes the keen eyes of his eagle or the patient stalking of his shadowcat, so anyone who gets too close to him risks brutal punishment; and while it’s possible to defeat his creatures separately, Varamyr will have no trouble finding replacements. Ultimately, facing an ordinary skinchanger means dealing with a skilled fighter supported by the strength of the creature to which it is attached; however, facing Sixpieles is equivalent to having to deal with an entire unit of wild beasts.”
What a perculiar but awesome boxset. The contents does give us a good idea as to how you can play Varamyr. Three Solo Trays and an Attachment Card does suggest you can only bring Varamyr as a Commander as the one Attachment card will be for the bird. I believe that Varamyr might interact similar to Borroq and his Boar where all the animals act at the same time. Or if they are all separate then they will all cost points just like Mag does. Still so much mystery around how Varamyr plays.
That is all that was revealed recently, as soon as their is a whisper from the little birds I will be sure to bring it to you.

Looks cool. But my skin changers have not come out to play since the nerf.
