Hey everyone! Adam, from TFG Radio, here to let you guys know why you should all be jealous of me this Xmas
Merry Christmas, or whatever you celebrate, everyone. I always have enjoyed this time of year as it revolves around gift giving, large family dinners, and extra days off from work. This year is no exception and I already got a few gifts this Christmas day and I felt like sharing with everyone because I am that generous and magnanimous. So look upon with jealousy as I regale you with tales of my Christmas loot.
New Chaos Space Marine Models
One of the better gifts I got was the announcement of the new Chaos Space marine and Eldar box, along with a new warpsmith model and some new Chosen models. In all honesty I am not too keen on the chosen but that really isn’t an issue. I could always make them unit leaders for my Black Legion squads and if I do plan on running a chosen unit then they could always be part of that. I really do like the new Warpsmith model. I already have a finecast one but let’s be real, it’s finecast and most of it has broken off because of the fact that it is finecast. I would get the box set just for that. The Forgefiend, although not a new model, is a fine addition in my case as I don’t even have one. I would always build mine as Maulerfiends so having a Forgefiend or 2 should be helpful in giving me options for my games.
New Eldar Models
Ok, for those that know me, they know I hate eldar and elves. Always have but I do have an eldar army that is basically the podcast eldar army. You just never saw it because Eldar are not in a good place right now. The new models look really good and I really hope the rest of the outdated range gets the same treatment. Now, although the models are looking good so far, I really want to know how effective they will be on the tabletop so that they just don’t sit on the shelves while all the other units get played. Hopefully we will soon see what they can do, of course after we see Genestealer Cult, Custodes, and T’au.
Coal
I really don’t understand this gift but I am hoping you guys do. I found a pile of coal near my chimney this morning but no gifts, like when I was young. It’s weird because we don’t have anything in order to use the coal so I am at a loss as to what o do with it. Some people are telling me that it’s because of how I have been acting all year but that can’t be right. Oh well, I’ll just have to add it to the pile of coal I have been collecting over the years.
