Hey everyone! Adam, from TFG Radio, here to talk about whatever comes to my mind. Really. Whatever happens to pop in my head….
I have finally been able to get some gaming in. Luckily it’s actually been some 40k gaming with a smidge of historical gaming on the side, but mainly 40k games. As has been well documented, I mainly play chaos, Black Legion in particular. I mean I do have other armies like Astra Militarum, Space Marines, Sisters of Battle and some other ones I probably forgot somewhere in my garage. With all that my first love has always been chaos. I usually play chaos in some form in almost all the Games Workshop systems. For some reason I actually don’t have a chaos Blood Bowl team but have Dwarves, halflings, and trolls instead. That is still not enough chaos for me so here are a few places I want to see chaos armies and why.
Tiny little dragons
Aeronotica Imperialis has interested. I really like the look of the flyers in this games, especially the Imperial ones. However it is still not enough to get me to commit to the game. Now if they introduce a chaos faction, then I am in. I love the heldrake model and think little tiny heldrakes would be cool in that setting. Now in the original game Forgeworld did produce some flyer units for chaos but I don’t believe they made heldrake. In any case, I think they could get a lot more players interested in the game if they introduced chaos with their flyers. Let’s face it, no one likes Tau, not even Tau players.
Titans with Tentacles
Adeptus Titanicus, the original, was the game that brought me into the world of Warhammer 40,000 and Games Workshop. The story of the Horus Heresy, along with the artwork and miniatures, really drew me in and I immediately sided with Horus. During the original run to epic space marine there were a lot of ways to make your traitor titans unique from their Imperial counterparts and from each other. I hope Games Workshop, at some point, brings this back, especially as the heresy progresses and they maybe go into The Great Scouring after the Siege of Terra. This would help foster more conversions for an already excellent set of kits. And remember, it is art(if you don’t know what I mean, don’t ask).
More Chaos Codexes
Ok, hear me out. I know that we have just gone through something like 50 space marine books, with all their different chapters, and even more with the White Dwarf indexes. Why can’t Chaos get some of that love? If you include daemon, we only have 4 books. That is not nearly enough. We need about 10 more chaos books and they can be as varied as their space marine counterparts. I mean there are other god in the warp besides the big four. What about a codex focusing on the god of telemarketers or the god of forgetting things only to remember them after you don’t need them anymore ? Or just bring Malal(Malice) back, with enough changes to not get sued. I’m just saying, more chaos is only good for the game. We don’t need any of those other codexes.
That’s all for this week. Hope you enjoyed the article. Let me know what you think, and how much more chaos you want in your gaming life, in the comments section below. Don’t forget to visit our Facebook, Twitch, and Patreon pages to stay up to date on what we’re up to and when episodes drop!

“Let’s face it, no one likes Tau -flyers-, -especially- not Tau players.”
There, made that statement more accurate for ya ;p
