Hey everyone! Adam here to go over the competitive 40K podcast for the past week.
With the big info dump from Games Workshop, there is a lot of sameness in the podcast world. As a result, this week I’ll divide the shows by their subject matter so it might help to see what shows you want to listen to.
Charity Hammer – Hammer Out Cancer
This coming Saturday is the Charity Hammer event “Hammer Out Cancer”. Below are the shows that have more info regarding the event
Best In Faction – The podcast actually running the event. They discuss why the event is happening, have a few of the participants on to discuss the event and how you can predict who will win the event. There is a bit of sound issue as some people are harder to hear than others but that is common with shows done over the internet. I personally have a lot of experience with that.
Sister Act – Guest Chuck, from Best in Faction, is on to talk about the Hammer Out Cancer event. There is also an episode from earlier in the week where they talk with the winner of a recent grand tournament.
Canhammer 40K – Interview with Colin, from Best in Faction, about the upcoming Hammer Out Cancer. There is another episode this past week of their year in review.
Big FAQ and Points
These podcasts focused on the FAQ and other info that was released by Games Workshop last week. I added any other info that the show may have discussed.
TFG Radio – In addition to the FAQ, they also announced the winners of the annual Haiku contest
Competitive 40K Podcast – If you’re looking for a take on the FAQ from the perspective of a Blood Angel player, here it is
Other Shows
Here is what other shows were talking about this week
Chapter Tactics – This week, with the start of a new year, they have special guests Colin Sherman to discuss on ways to help you to actually achieve the goals you set out for yourself in competitive 40K. it is a good listen
40K Game Changers – Created by Steve Joll, formerly from 40K Daily, this new show seems to focus on people that have changed the way we look at 40K and not just at the competitive level. This inaugural episode feature Lawrence Baker from Tabletop Tactics.
Forge the Narrative – This week one of the topics they discuss is that of decision making and some of the tricks they use to help them in that regard
WTC Squadcast – This episode they talk with Team Poland
