The Warhammer-community team brings us a preview of what’s coming up next week in the Warhammer hobby!
The new season of Blood Bowl is available to pre-order right now, and over the coming week, we’ll be taking a closer look at the latest edition of the ultimate game of fantasy football.
Next week also sees some classic Middle-earth models return for a limited time, but before we take a look at them, let’s celebrate the quick break in Blood Bowl play with a highlights package.
A Return to Middle-earth™
Every now and again we re-release some older Middle-earth kits to give you the chance to grab any that you might have previously missed, so now is the perfect time to fill in the gaps in your Middle-earth collection. These kits are focused on scenes from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers™ movie including the epic Battle of Helm’s Deep – let’s see which models are returning:
For fans of Good armies, we have Legolas Mounted with Bow, Théoden from Warg Attack, Gamling from Warg Attack, Gimli on Dead Uruk-hai, Gimli on Dead Uruk-hai, Ent, Haldir’s Elves with Bows, Haldir’s Elves with Swords, and the Heroes of Helms Deep.
And on the Evil side, we’ve got Uruk-hai Scouts, Warg Riders, and the Uruk-hai Battering Ram.
There’s no pre-order window on these kits, they’re available right from next Saturday. Act quickly though, as there are a limited number of each so they’re sure to sell out fast.
Warhammer Preview Online – Decadence & Decay
Next Saturday sees another Warhammer Preview Online and this one is delving deep into the dark places of Warhammer. We’ll have a look at forthcoming releases for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40,000, Necromunda, Warhammer Underworlds, and the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game. There are going to be some BIG reveals, so make sure you don’t miss it – join us live right here on the Warhammer Community site and on our Twitch stream from 1:45 pm (GMT).
This Week on Warhammer Community
Throughout the next seven days, we’ll be continuing to take a look at the new season of Blood Bowl, including how to run your own league and more about the one and only Zolcath the Zoat. We’ll also be taking a look inside this year’s Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar battleforces. These always-popular boxes are a great way to start a new army (or add to an existing one) and just happen to be coming out in time for Christmas.* We also have some last-minute tips for your Armies on Parade entry, and we’ll be showing off a scenario for this year’s Christmas model, Jakkob Bugmansson XI.
