More info on the upcoming Sons of Behemat for AoS! This “fatnasy Knights” army is looking rad. Dive in to see more about their Artefacts via the Warhammer-community team. And remember, you’ll be able to purchase these from us in our web-cart tomorrow!
Mega-Gargants are covered with a variety of awesome details – finding them all is one of the coolest things about this model. Many of them can be made to represent the battletome’s artefacts of power, elevating your behemoths’ abilities to dizzying new heights. Today, we’ll pick a few of our favourites to show you.
Trappings of the Titan
Warstomper Mega-Gargants can choose from three artefacts. Our favourite is the Ironweld Cestus, not least because it’s inspired by stylish finger-guards fashioned from human leg armour, originally seen on the classic Giant model! Not only can a veteran Warstomper expertly use this armour to keep them safe from harm, but they can even use it to slap melee opponents around while they’re at it!
Legacy of Demolition
Gatebreaker Mega-Gargants also have three artefacts, but the Kingslaughter Cowl has the coolest name by far – easy choice! As it turns out, the same skill set that makes them good at knocking over sturdy fortifications can be used to knock over enemy Heroes too!
Trophies Taken by Force
Kraken-eater Mega-Gargants are natural hoarders, collecting all sorts of shiny baubles from their victims. Sometimes those happen to be powerful relics, granting the gargants abilities they only dimly comprehend. They have a full six artefacts to choose from, so we’ll pick a pair.
First up is this versatile trinket that allows you to take advantage of a variety of bonuses – a little bit of re-roll goes a long way.
Next up is a really special artefact that turns your Mega-Gargant into the biggest, smashiest WIZARD you’ve ever seen! Yes, you read that correctly…
Eagle-eyed readers may have noticed we mentioned the Net of the Beast-reaver artefact in a previous article… You’ll need to pre-order Battletome: Sons of Behemat for yourself this Saturday to see the other seven artefacts available across the three Mega-Gargants!
Which of these sounds the most exciting to you? Let us know over on the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Facebook page!
