Realm War gets an update!

For more than a year, mobile gamers have been participating in frantic battles between Order, Chaos, Death and Destruction in Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War. This immersive digital experience blends MOBA and deck building, combining them with cutting-edge graphics that bring the warriors and monsters of the Mortal Realms to life. It recently got a major update that makes its real-time PVP battles better than ever. Check out the amazing trailer.
Realm War 2.0 brings the biggest set of changes to the game since its launch. You’ll discover a new way to battle your fellow players and earn rewards – as you play, you’ll climb the ranks through ten tiered leagues. With this new league system, at the end of each monthly season you’ll get rewards based on your position – the higher your rank, the more goodies you’ll receive, including cards and currency to make your decks better and help you climb even higher the following month. Alongside the leagues, the new Season Pass offers even more loot, giving you better rewards the more games you win – so it’s well worth jumping in and playing as much as possible.
You can now bolster your collection of cards with four new units. The Lord-Castellant brings his storm-forged might (and very large halberd) to bear, while Lady Olynder swoops across the battlefield, bringing fear to the hearts of all she touches. Destruction fans get no fewer than two new choices – powerful Dankhold Troggoths and chilling Icefall Yhetees.
As well as the new units, many choices have been rebalanced, with six being given more powerful abilities. As you collect them, you may end up with cards for units you don’t want or need, but now you’ll be able to trade them with other players while picking up silver and experience for doing so. It’s a fantastic way to make use of your spare resources and get something for them – as well as helping out other players in the process!
The power of units as they level up has also been changed to make them tougher at higher levels, rewarding you for putting in the effort to raise them up. There is also a new mechanic that increases the chances of getting the units you want over time when opening comets. Finally, iPhone 11 users can enjoy a newly optimised visual experience, making the game look crisper and more beautiful than ever – perfect for enjoying the visuals while you massacre your foes and gain rewards!
