Charity Hammer 2: Electric Boogaloo

Hey Guys Mitch here from the Best In Faction Podcast and its almost that time again, that’s right I’m talking about Charity Hammer!

What Is Charity Hammer?

A non-stop marathon Twitch Stream with multiple games happening simultaneously with some of the best players in 40k streaming all weekend to entertain you and raise money for charity.

EVERY DOLLAR RAISED GOES TO CHILD’S PLAY!

Child’s Play is a charitable organization that donates toys and games to children’s hospitals worldwide. It was founded in 2003 by Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins, authors of the popular video games-related webcomic Penny Arcade. Anyone who has ever had a child that had to spend a lot of time in a hospital knows how hard that is on that child and their family.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Starting January 3rd, 2020 at 3 PM Pacific, we will run THREE SEPARATE Warhammer streams for 52 hours straight. We will create 136 hours of competitive focused Warhammer 40k content, and we will be doing so with some of the top players in the game. This is coming right on the heels the massive changes of Chapter Approved. You’ll get to see the top players in the ITC playing with whatever new Meta we will have in front of us. What a great way to get ready for LVO in January!

WHAT’S IT GOING TO COST?

All streams will be done absolutely for free.

If you want to watch, you can, all we ask is that you consider making a donation to support Child’s Play. If you do, that would mean the world to us. If you simply can’t make that happen, that’s fine, just sit back and enjoy the show(s).

Anyone who donates at least $30 to Child’s Play over the course of the stream will be entered into our Raffle. We will be drawing for great prizes throughout the entire event. Every $30 you give will get your name into the raffle an addition time.

On top of the live streams, all 130+ hours of content will be recorded and made available after the event for free on Youtube so even if you cannot catch the action live, you will be able to watch it on your own time.

What can I expect to see?

With some 130 hours of gameplay, we have a lot of exciting matchups to play out. For example on Friday; Socal Open winner Brian Pullen will take on Nova winner Richard Siegler in a battle for who is the greatest good, followed immediately after with Richard and Jim Vesal, number 1 and 2 in the current ITC standings making a game of things.

On Saturday, the fun really begins as we host arguably the hardest RTT in the world. 3 rounds of play featuring 6 of the top 10 players in the ITC, and 8 other players in the top 150!

John Lennon and Nick Nanavati are also playing a charity matchup where their armies have been selected via donation and Mob Rules own Danny McDevitt will take on 40k Stats Centre’s Peter ‘the Falcon’ Colosimo to determine who is the most attractive podcast personality in 40k.

That is just a taste of what you can expect. So come by, tune in, and enjoy the show! You can check out the full calendar of planned match-ups and events over at http://www.charityhammer.com. It will be a wild ride and we can’t wait for you all to join us!
