- Coming up next week, we’ve got a new Necromunda release with new gangs, the Subjugators and the Corpse Grinder Cultists!
- Frontline Gaming turned 9 years old this month! It’s crazy to think we’re going into our tenth year of business. It’s been a wild ride and we wanted to extend a huge thank you to everyone that’s been a part of it. As we like to do on FLG’s birthday, we’re taking a little trip down memory lane to talk about the journey so far and this year’s it’s especially poignant as we’re also saying goodbye to our longest running employee and co-host of the show: the Salty Banan, aka, Mr. Jason himself.

Tactics Corner
- Space Marines continue their march of domination this week in the competitive meta, taking 8 of the top 12 placings from the weekend’s GT and Major level events, including all 3 first place finishings. Most of them were still Iron Hands, Iron Hands Successors or Iron Hands+another Chapter of Marines (often Raven Guard Centurions). Interestingly there is still a lot of diversity in the lists, some being Air Forces, others sit and shoot lists, etc. Lots of Centurions as well.
- We had 2 Imperial Fists armies in there, 1 was Mani Cheema’s artillery heavy army and another Nick Counsell’s bolter heavy Marine infantry list.
- No sign of Salamanders yet, but it’s early days still.
- Of the non-Marines, we had choose your own adventure Eldar, Forces of the Hive Mind, Admech and Cadian Guard.
- Daniel Bradley’s Eldar were interesting, featuring a lot of infantry, Striking Scorps and only two flyers.
- So, tech your list to stomp Marines! The latest episode of Chapter Tactics is all about exactly that topic, check it out!
Completed Commissions
- These Star Wars Legion models were painted by the FLG Paint Studio! Consider us for your next miniatures painting commission.
And remember, Frontline Gaming sells gaming products at a discount, every day in their webcart!
I hope its an April fools that Jason stops 🙁
I miss him already
Sadly it is not, this will be his last appearance on Signals for the foreseeable future.
Until fifty episodes later when he snaps and crashes into the premises mid-episode with his shirt off, roaring into the mic about the newly updated and amazing Grey Knight Terminator rules
hahahaha, yes!
Ahh, say it ain’t so! Really loved the perspective Jason brought, and always cracked me up! Wishing you the best. Hoping you’ll finally have time to play all the Lord of the Rings for which your heart yearns.
Yeah, he will for sure be missed but change is the nature of things =)
Where will I get my Australian cultural commentary?
Lolol
Is he leaving to start his modelling career? Those are some flattering before and afters!
hahaha
What a great send off for Jason, wish him the best for everything! It’s been cool watching it all grow over the years. Still remember everyone in laughing re: D-Impaler up here In Martinez 😀 See you all at the LVO.
Lol, yes, those were some fun days.
See you at the LVO!
Nooo, say it isn’t so! The Banana is leaving? Is he just leaving the show, or the company altogether? Who’s the new co-host? Bring Frankie back!
He is leaving the show and the company in January. The LVO will be his last gig with us.
As for the co-host, Frankie may come back on but for now he’s setting up the new FLG HQ in Nevada while the rest of us are here in San Diego running operations.
The Soggy Banana giving us the slip. Good luck Jason I hope the passion creeps back in. More then half of the real reason we love to actually play the game is to hang out with friends that you can not see all the time.
Yeah, 100% true. The game’s a social experience more than anything else.
Good luck to the Crunchy Banana!!!
Good luck with the move – as a fellow owner of a retail in London, I feel your pain re: the cost! It certainly makes a lot of sense. All the best to Jason as well. Looking forward to seeing you all in Vegas. Also, exciting news re: the team tournament!
