Tactics Corner
- Iron Hands are now in the wild and taking names! They’re going to be the army to beat, in our opinions, so let’s chat about what they are, can do and what to expect in addition to how to react to them.
- Overcoming or getting around their damage reduction.
- Taking out the key support characters.
- Playing to the mission.
- Establishing ground control.
- Remembering range bands.
- Adjusting as a T’au and Eldar whom are impacted the most with current meta builds.
Completed Commissions
- These Grey Knights were painted by the FLG Paint Studio!
And remember, Frontline Gaming sells gaming products at a discount, every day in their webcart!
Lol.
“Melee armies are going right through Iron Hands”?
Melee armies are pretty much dead with Iron Hands on the table. Repulsors overwatching on 4s will on their own nuke Bloodletters, Orks or Aberrants, even assuming you can charge them with the -2, they aren’t sitting on buildings, etc..
Caladius armies already were the bane of Melee armies with a quarter of the damage output of Iron Hands and no access to a Deny-a-psychic-power-on-4+ strat (which should be a 3 CP strat at the very minimum). Unlike Iron Hands, they just got outgunned occasionally (if rarely).
To no one in general:
Now, see, for fun, I just changed my 15 month old drukhari list, with wyches & Trueblasters, to a no wych, no venom-no Trueblasters list; to one that brings in 2 hemlocks, reapers and Smite spam eldar.
Crap.
Now it looks like I might need to bring back the TrueBorn/blasters and girls (to tie up dread naughts and get power armored dorks laid before killing them).
Gripe, whine-bitch-piss-and-moan. Gripe. Complain.
Gripe, complain, moan … well, just go here:

Thank you, Eric Cartman and all the chodes (choads sp?) for bringing Iron Hands.
Dicks.
